Proofreading

I will correct grammar, spelling errors, typos, punctuation missteps, missing words, and duplicated words.

I work, primarily, in Word with Track Changes, but can also edit in Google Docs and PDF. If you have a style sheet you wish me to use, great! Otherwise, I will create one specific to your project and provide it to you upon completion of work. You can use this as a resource for future projects—particularly beneficial if you're creating a series. In general, I will use the Chicago Manual of Style as a guideline for most projects.

To determine if I'm the right professional for you and to provide a precise quote, I'll request a 1000-word sample from the middle of your text. This will be proofread at no charge.

Rates are per 250-word page

• Non-fiction $5.00-7.50

Beta Reading

$1.00 per 1000 words, with this amount to be credited if you decide to use my proofreading service on the same project within one year of completion.

Most of my experience is in historical fiction, psychological thriller, romance, and crime fiction, but I am open to most genres.

I will provide in-document notes as I read, as well as a final critique report once done. Some writers have specific points they want feedback on, and I am happy to provide this according to your written queries.
